Artist’s Statement

Magnificent color, texture and form came alive for me during the 8 years I worked as a personal chef. The creation of exciting, visual, edible presentations was the art form that led me to study fine art, first at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle and then at the world-renowned Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, Washington.

After 10 years of creative evolution, my art ranges from functional objects to large mixed media sculptures. I’m intrigued with the juxtaposition of glass and stainless steel and look forward to adding light and water to the mix. Each creation is a challenge, but glass is my passion. I’m truly living my dream!

I’m proud to say that my artwork has been featured in several solo exhibitions in one of Seattle’s top galleries Foster/White. And has been purchased by famous art collectors such as Sir Elton John and Ann Getty.
